The Key Peninsula Community Fair Board is grateful to all community members who volunteer their time to help with the Fair. We couldn't do it without you!!

We need volunteers to work both during the fair and also with the setup and take down the day before and after the fair. So, volunteers are welcomed from Friday to Monday. To make sure that we can schedule all volunteers, please sign up as soon as possible.

PROCEEDS SHARING: The Fair supports our local; non-profit and community service organizations by sharing any profit at the end of the Fair with those who volunteer to help us.

ABOUT SIGNING IN & SIGNING OUT: When you arrive at the Festival grounds to volunteer, come to the Volunteer Booth at the main entrance, 

• We'll sign you in.
• You'll be given an assignment & it will be explained to you.
• You'll receive a "Volunteer" name badge which will serve as your id during your volunteer time.
• When you are ready to leave, it is very important that you return to the Volunteer Booth & sign out so we may, in turn, keep a good record of your service. If you are a student earning your "community service" hours, your paperwork will be signed at this time.

ABOUT YOUR ASSIGNMENT: Typical volunteer activities include setting up displays, games, activities, etc,  monitoring same,  setting up for outdoor events, checking performers in for the Keys Got Talent show, parking and gate duty, etc.

Be prepared by dressing comfortably (Bring a hat & sunglasses if you feel you might need them). DO NOT bring anything with you that you cannot keep on your person as the Fair does not have a place to secure personal items!

ABOUT YOUR DAY AS A VOLUNTEER: A volunteer tent with cold drinks are available for Fair Staff & Volunteers only. Be FLEXIBLE, FRIENDLY & PATIENT We can't always predict when, where or how we'll need your help. Be ready for questions from the patrons. If you know the answers, great, if not, just say you'll find out & then do it.
